HSE A Team Coach, Mike Berger, was inducted into the ISHSHA Hall of Fame during the State Tournament. The Hall of Fame recognizes people who have been instrumental in the development of High School Hockey programs in the state of Indiana. Coach was recognized for his contributions to the development of the Fishers Youth Hockey League, the HSE Hockey Club and the Hoosier Wings. Coach has touched the lives of hundreds of hockey players he has coached and mentored. Thank you for all you've done, Coach!
A mandatory HSE Hockey Club parent meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 28th at 6:30 pm in Rink 2 at The Forum.
Max Molnar, senior defenseman on HSE Varsity A team, won the Scotton Essay Scholarship. This scholarship was established in memory of Steve Scotton and is awarded to the HSE player who represents the HSE Hockey club in the highest possible manner. Max is headed off to Purdue to study computer science and math. We wish you all the best, Max! Boiler Up!
Each Indiana high school varsity hockey program that is a member of the ISHSHA can honor one member of its team who best exemplifies the characteristics of sportsmanship and character demonstrated by the legendary hockey player Hobey Baker, who played at Princeton and died before returning to the United States after serving as a fighter pilot in World War I. Congratulations to Jonah Sadowski (HSE A) and Dan Clark (HSE B) for winning this honor. We wish all the best to both as they head off to college!
HSE Hockey Club consists of student athletes from Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, IN. They call Forum at Fishers home. The HSE Hockey Club is committed to building the premier hockey club in Indiana based on establishing a tradtion of winning on the ice along with achieving academic excellence.
