2016-17 HSE Teams

Welcome to HSE Hockey.  Home of High School Hockey for HSE and Fishers High Schools.  HSE Hockey is enriched with years of winning tradition.   HSE Hockey is committed to the continuation of this winning tradition.  HSE Hockey is looking forward to the incoming players for next season.   HSE Hockey will hold a special "Call Out" practice for those that are entering 9th grade or plan to tryout for the HSE Hockey teams for the 2016-17 school year.  A "Call Out Skate" will be schedule in April at the Fuel Tank in Fishers.

HSE Hockey is looking to field both the A Team and B Team again next season.  HSE hockey has been committed to the development of hockey players with the goal to increase hockey skill through the development of players on the HSE B Team while providing an opportunity to provide the A Team with the most competitive team schedule.

In addition to playing Indiana high school teams, HSE Hockey strives to play the best competition from around the United States each year.  The teams generally travel to 2 to 3 tournaments/events per year to play the best competition at the high school level.  A summary of a typical schedule is as follows:

  • Approximately 50 games per year for both teams
  • Games start generally the first week of October and ends by mid-March
  • 8 to 9 hotel overnights (all out of town events are within driving distance, approx. once per month during the season):  Typical travel outside of Indiana includes (Illinois, Ohio and Michigan)
  • HSE Hockey generally plays in one or two tournaments per year where we play top talent high school programs
  • HSE Hockey plays in the Hoosier League and the Indiana State High School Hockey Association League.
  • Schedule generally allows kids to enjoy high school life by attending fall football games and homecoming dances.
  • HSE Hockey understands academics are most important for the players to graduate from high school.  The schedule is generally created to allow high school students to take the ACT/SAT exams throughout the school year.  We strive to allow some Friday nights and Saturdays for the ACT/SAT exams for Juniors.
